[4th - 6th July] Ipoh Trip I
Once my holiday started, I straight went to Ipoh visit my boyf. So I was at Ipoh last Monday til Wednesday, three days two night. My very first time take train and travel alone to so far, first time being so independent. haha. Early morning, My mom dropped me at Station Bandar Tasik Selatan, I took KLIA transit to Station KL Sentral. Then I sit Electric Train Service (ETS) to Ipoh. The estimated time of journey is about 2 hours 15 minutes, they stopped by 10 stops. Inside the train, I felt the time passed quite fast. Is better than you sit car.  This is the ETS train. There are three classes of ETS: Silver, Gold and Platinum. *different classes different price*The difference is in the number of stops these trains make, hence the duration of the trip. I sit Gold Class, which is RM35 for one way. If you have student card, they will have discount for you. Less RM5 only. *You can't use your friends or other people's student card to buy ticket. 1 student card for discount 1 ticket only. They will check your ticket with student card while you inside the train. You will get fine if you get caught of cheating them. I reached Ipoh by 1+pm, boyf came to pick me. I think is my first time visit to Ipoh, normally I just pass by Ipoh when I on the way back to my hometown. and also, my first time go to my boyf's house, first time meet his family. *a bit scare and nervous*  Ipoh Railway Station ; looks like some western style building Boyf brought me to Nam Heong for br-unch. Together with the Ipoh friend, Goh and the three fella from KL that left me to take train alone to Ipoh - ChooMing, ShangChuen and LianYan! Nam Heong is famous with their original White Coffee. The food are not bad too. They have few stall, selling DimSum, Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun, Char Kuay Teow, Yong Tau Fu, Chee Cheong Fun, etc...  Kedai Makanan Nam Heong  Must try their White Coffee  White Coffee Ice  and the original Toast  I tried their Chicken Hor Fun. It tasted normal only, but still can eat.  I wanted to eat this plain Chee Cheong Fun badly! I didn't get the chance to eat this. This stall, morning they sell Yong Tau Fu, Hakka Mee, they sell Chee Cheong Fun at noon time. Other than Chee Cheong Fun, I want to eat Char Kuey Teow, Prawn Mee..... Actually I wanna try every food in every stall. LOL SEI FEI PO!  what is this? I never see this before until I saw my boyf took this out and used a coin to scratch it, and told me it is a Parking Ticket O.O In KL, we have Parking Ticket Machine. In Ipoh is different, they use this Parking Coupon. There are 5 columns that you have to scratch in order to use the parking coupon correctly. First, you need to scratch for the year, month and day of the parking day. Next, you need to scratch the columns of hour and minute, which represent the time you started to park your car. After this, put the coupon on the dashboard, where it can be easily spotted by the authorities.  To Be Continued... Mega Sales Scratch and Win Scam
 yoooo! I just back from Ipoh :D The very first thing I wanna share is, "SCRATCH AND WIN" SCAM I just experienced it today at Bandar Tasik Selatan Station. I'm not that dumb to let them con. I came back from Ipoh by train, my mom waiting me at Bandar Tasik Selatan Station. Once I reached there, I have to take escalator to go up. While I standing on the escalator, suddenly a young guy approached behind of me and gave me something like a card. I was rushing, so I never think so much. I thought it is a flyers, thought of being nice take and go only. But the guy asked me to open it. Again, I never think so much, I opened it and I had that a grey color sign, which means I win a "Special Bonus". That stupid guy congrated me and said I might win a car or whatever trip to somewhere. Then his colleague, a girl came over and talk talk talk explain explain explain... The fella keep on congrate me and wanted to shake hand with me but I refused. Sohai betul. They asked me whether I got a license to drive, which Bank I supported, trying to ask how much I have in my bank, so I can get rebate off of the road tax if I win a car from them. They brainless. They asked will I forget them when I get the big prize, asked me to remember them and have to treat them. After so much of explanation, at last they said I have to follow them go to their office on the spot to get the prize that win. Their acting skill need to be improved, cause they don't even know how to act. You can see out they are so damn fake. They thought I'm stupid as them. Trying to cheat people. I refused them. They keep said, very less people got the chance to win a big prize, don't miss it. nahhhh... o0o That time I feel like slapping them and also feel like scolding them stop cheating people. But I scare later all their colleagues come and whack me. I just be quiet and walk away.  They will give you something like that. *picture taken from Internet*  BEWARE OF THEM THEY ARE ALL MOSTLY YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE AGE OF 20+ EVERYWHERE YOU CAN SEE THEM, LRT STATION, BRIDGE AT SUNGEI WANG & TIME SQUARE..... goodnight. 12 weeks of Practical Training finally end! I waited this day to come for so long!Imma so happy now :D No more surrounded by dumb ass Indians and Malays! uhhh-ohhhh... I don't have to speak Malay everyday now :P will talk bout my practical training in next post* Have a small gathering dinner with my college mates at Jogoya, Star Hill. Its been 3 months never meet them. All of us are busy for our Internship, they still having their practical training. I started early, so I end up earlier than them :]  The very-perasan-guy who always think that himself very handsome :P KianYaw Tan ; you can call him pek pek yaw  God of Interior Design Carlson Chee ; as known as cheeeebai lun. hahaha  Pro graphic designer :P SiauSan Chew ; short cut = '33'  Aunty Su Sean xP SuSean Lim susu  The  Look at him. Girlf not here, so he dream bout he kissing his girl. aha!  He finally can take photo with girls. Normally he don't dare to take photo with girls, especially me and Su Sean. hahaa... He so afraid of his girlf xD  six of us ; the future interior designers, graphic designer and multimedia designer. Enjoy your internship, mates :D
Bro's Birthday & Daddy's Day
My parents organized a birthday party for my youngest bro at my house last Saturday night.It was my bro first time having a big birthday party, celebrate his 12th Birthday. A simple catering buffet, and extra ordered 80 pieces of Lamb chop :] Relatives, neighbours, my bro's classmates were invited. My bro doesn't want to invite his female classmates, he just want to invite boys. You all know la... Primary school kids scare that you laugh them, say is their girlfriend, this and that. haha. We forced him to invite the whole class to come ; My parents wanna see his female classmates :P  the food  My bro's future house ; Pandan layer cake  cut cake ceremony :)  half of his classmates Kid's party. ahaa...  some of the boys came too. sc brought his ps3 to play at my room :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next day was Father's day. Early morning, I've prepared to bake a cake for my dad. I just realize that I just know how to bake Oreo cheesecake. haha. Cheesecake is the easiest cake to bake. I used another method to bake Oreo cheesecake this time. Instead of a normal round or square shape cake, I made it to cupcake style. I followed this recipes below : Make 30 of cupcakes
 Ingredients  Put on the whole Oreo cookies in the bottom of each lined muffin cup *The progress are not taken, no photo to show*  the result of the cupcakes. ahaa. cacat.  I don't know where to get the cream or how to make the cream to write on top of the cupcakes ; So my mom melt some chocolate and write the wording for me on top of the cupcakes. At night we have dinner at The Ship with two more families, my cousin's family. Mom brought my cupcakes to there. There's three daddys, my dad's two younger brothers - means my uncles, and also my dad. So you can see three smiley face cupcakes :) Once again, Happy 12th Birthday to my youngest bro, and Happy Daddy's Day!  Internship - Complain.
First post of June 2011 ; Still about my Internship. I have my Practical Training for 8 weeks already, 3 more weeks to go :D I count down everyday, waiting the day of getting out from that company! ..... I gonna start my complain... complain... complain again bout that company. You can just don't read and skip this :P ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wondering is Malays and Indians are really that dumb? and they are so lazy. Imagine a Design company that only has one or two Designers? Imagine the company designers just know how to use only Illustrator and Photoshop, they don't know about other software? Imagine they work in office, they don't even know how to use Power Point? I wondering how can that company success to be build up? I wonder how they work before I join in. Not to say I am pro or what... but they really think that I am a god, they think I can do everything. I apply for working as video editor, more to production. At first they lack of Graphic Designer, Fine, I temporary helped them out in graphic design.I designed Name cards, Company profile, Flyers... After that they asked me to do FLASH which I fucking hate it. Fine. After a month, finally a new Graphic Designer came. So, I been placed to Video editing room. I learned new software that college never teach from a part-time editor. Started a bit of video editing work. Then, they got new project. and fucking ask me to do FLASH again. I REALLY DON'T LIKE DOING FLASH. Fine. I still do for them. And they asked, Do I know how to do 3D. Fuck shit. They even try to give me 3D work? Luckily they didn't. In another day, they asked, Can I draw in illustrator. I feel like show him my both middle fingers and say, YOU THINK I CAN DO EVERYTHING? YOU THINK I AM A GOD? I AM NOT A GRAPHIC DESIGNER AND YOU FUCKIN' ASK ME TO DO THING THAT ABOUT GRAPHIC DESIGN WHICH I DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO DO? If I say I don't know, the fella will ask me to learn. How to learn? Learn from Internet? WHY DON'T YOU LEARN? Instead of asking me to learn. As a internship student, they should teach me how to do. But end up, THEY ASK ME TO TEACH THEM FLASH and POWER POINT. Stupid company. If they need to work on Flash, why don't they hire a person for doing Flash? You know what. They ask me to teach the new graphic designer bout Flash. He already have a lot of work to do, and you want to use him to do Flash in future? If you want him to do more than his work, why you don't pay him more? They just fucking want to save cost, don't want to hire people for doing it. This stupid company.. So damn stingy... Talk bout money, They wanna use LOW COST to buy a HIGH QUALITY stuff. I'm thinking are they paying me allowance if like that? I work so much for them. Not to say that company stupid, I should say myself stupid. I stupid, I dumb, I noob... Why I found this kind of useless company... No choice. Not I want to, just because this company is my last choice. Everyday I put on a fake smile, act like I work happily over there. Whatever they ask me to do, I just smile and say okay, and I do for them. *that's why they like me so much, everything rely on me* puiii! I just have an assistance, which is my college mate, Indian college mate. haha. He also has his practical training here now. So now I lead him to work and he help me on my work too. After I left, he gonna replace me. haha. God bless him. TOO MUCH BAD THING TO TALK BOUT THE COMPANY. AHAAA.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now my seat change to editing room :D I owe the whole freaking room with my college mate. So good. One thing I want to say is, why the hell inside the room has so much of electric current. I always get electric shock from the door! even the CD duplicator! so scary.  My biggest fear in the office recently - this freaking electric current door. I always get electric shock from this door!  You know how I open the door now? I use paper to wrap on it and open. but normally I ask my college mate to open whenever I want to go out from the room. ehhe.. My place now is inside the editing room. In the editing room have two seats ; I sit both sides.  one side is video editing two screens  another side with Mac  hardworking me :P These days, I'm burning Have to burn like more than 100 piece of DVD for the client. So bored, but is better than do other work :P  Still got more to burn.  CD / DVD Duplicator I get electric shock from this too! damn it!
Future Office
During practical training, let me think of this. I wanna have my own office, own production studio, own business... A production house? and maybe graphic design work can be do also, like creating name cards, company profile, brochures, flyers, CD cover design....etc. I'm the boss. So that I don't have to work for people, but people work for me :) I don't have to wake up so early to rush to work, I can come to my own office anytime I want. I want my office interior look interesting and creative, not like those normal office look so bored. I want it to be comfortable too. So that when workers come to work, they will feel enjoy but not stress like hell :] The office must include... A room for photo / video shooting studio ; Another room for editing studio ; Graphic design in another room ; Reception, Meeting room, A space for workers to relax and have a break... Keep imagine it ~~~  Photo and video shooting studio ; I don't need a big one, a small studio is enough :)  In the studio is a must to have a green screen.  Must have all the shooting equipments! Big video camera, photo shooting camera, tripod, big flash, lightning, dolly grip...  Editing room with two computer monitor and a TV monitor, speakers... Normally editing room is dark ; So, I want the editing room's wall to paint like some gothic art, like this below :  This is one of my lecturer's work. I like it :)  My lecturer's work too. I wanna do something like this to the wall :D  I want something like this but nicer than this, look at the wall. This will be a room for graphic design  Or maybe like this.  Can also build a slide in office :D Creative enough? The workers can have a break in here. What do you think? Maybe I just dream to have all this, or someday this dream will comes true? Who knows.  New stuff :)
I'm looking around my room, thinking what can I get to write on blog. Found nothing. Have no idea what to write, nothing inspire me. Brain is blank. Don't know what to update. Blog is dead. Soon to be close down. arrrr.... Hopefully I won't close it down since I like blogging :) Mom saw a bag from magazine, Jaspal brand and she wanted to buy, so we went to Mid Valley yesterday. Guess what? The bag that she saw on magazine, she bought it, but is so gonna belongs to me :D She bought another high class bag from Folli Follie, I think she don't need the Jaspal casual bag. hehe. Other than that, we saw a lot of nice watches in the same shop. And don't know why... so sudden... for no reason... Mom bought me a watch! hahahaha. happy shit :P  Beautiful! Same as my two watches, don't need battery, self-winding watch. I love watch like that :D The price for this watch, you can get an ipad2. How much is it? :X  That's the bag my mom wanna buy, end up is belongs to me :D grab a short from Jaspal too. OH I ♥ THAT WATCH SO MUCH 6 more weeks to go! Counting down to the day of Internship end yo. So boring. Hate to wake up early and go home late. The people over there is okay, they are nice ; Just that they don't have the design basic, they just have the mouth to talk, keep asking you to make changes, buat kacao... The most I hate is they always last minute only ask you rush the work. *part-time editor, and the new designer both agree and telling this to me* I rather join my friend to be extra talent for movie shooting at Pavilion than sitting at the bloody hell office doing those work that I don't like. Is nowadays trending that Jay Chou and Nicholas Tse taking part that movie! From Wednesday to Friday, one whole day they pay RM80. Not a Jay Chou nor Nicholas Tse fans, but at least have fun and have the chance to see how their shooting progress. *Nicholas Tse is a lengzai maaaaaa... go to kap him lorrrr* I see they need so many extra talent for the movie, and also many nice cars! I told my mom, she said go to buy Medical Leave show office. lol. I wanted to, but don't know can or not only. haih.. so sad.
