Venice Italy

Venice (Venizia) is a city in north-east Italy sited on a group of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges.
When in Venice, one must go for a gondola ride, right? :)
*Gondola is a traditional, flat-bottomed Venetian rowing boat, well suited to the conditions of the Venetian lagoon.
People says that riding a gondola is romantic and iconic.
The gondolas are now mainly used by tourists ; Venetians use water buses (vaporetto) or water taxis.
