Cherry Blossom Festival '12
Should post this earlier, but I don't have the blogging-mood :\Cherry Blossom Festival '12 held at Memorial Park, on April 28 and 29 from 10am to 5pm. The festival is held in honor of Cupertino's sister city of Toyokawa, Japan and includes many booths and shows that celebrate Japanese culture. Shows featuring Emeryville Taiko Drumming and other cultural displays were presented in the outdoor auditorium. A special kids section included a petting zoo, a train ride, and an array of jumping houses. Families, friends and even their dogs all gathered at Memorial Park for a day of fun, sun and celebration :)
*sorry for the bad quality photos. All taken w/ iphone camera. Some steal from my roommate's facebook. am lazy to edit*

first month of class.
Time pass so fast! Another month just gone like that. Its MAY now! Two more months I can get my ass back to Malaysia! I can't wait for it! How's my first month of class here? So far every classes are fine. I'm taking 4 classes, which are English (Read 200), Maths (Maths 114), Intro of Film (F/TV 01) and History of Film (F/TV 02). *English and Maths are compulsory to take, no choice. If you study in America, you will know how their system work. Everyone is compulsory to take General Education (GE), that means no matter you major in what course, you still have to study other subjects like Science, Humanities and so on to complete you GE requirement. *America expect you to know everything. lol*
Teaching method at here is different from Malaysia :)
Professors don't use textbook in class, they use their materials to teach in class and textbook is for you to read at home.
At here, they want everyone to participate, discuss and talk in the class! *Not to ask you chit-chat with friends* Professors will keep ask the students question and discuss with them in class.
And the most important thing is the people over here is very punctual! Don't you try to be late in class. aha :P
Also you can't be lazy in here! Once you lazy, you will be dead.
That's why I'm so
