CNY '12
2012 ; Year of Dragon.  Here come my Chinese New Year post. Last two years were the worst CNY that I never ever had before, something happen in my family. However, I guess this year is the happiest CNY for my grandparents because all of us, the four families were here together! We had our reunion dinner at Restaurant Golden Dragonboat. FYI, my aunt is one of the lady boss at the restaurant, and my dad they all have share on there too. People, go and have a try on someday ya :D Try their dim sum in the morning.  Chung / Chong 's family :) (FYI, my grandpa has two names with two different surname, written on the IC too. LOL) the child in my family are all TALL ; don't see those boys squatting like that, when they stand up, even taller than me. so friends, don't blame me on being so tall :P  my family w/ my love grandparents ♥  Ladies! yea, I'm the tallest among the ladies. but soon, my cousin will be taller than me. look at the pretty girl with blue shoes, fourth from the left ; guess how old is she? She is only 12 years old! and already this tall!  Those  my darling acting cute behind me. wtf.  babe Ann w/ me the  the cousin sis ♥  Dinner time with pretty look on the left ; After dinner, came home and changed to crazy look on the right. Which one you prefer? haha My Chinese New Year was nothing special actually. As usual, people visited to my house, and we paid a visit to people's house. Those aunty uncle only know how to ask or talk the same thing ; boring~ " wa... this is your daughter? So tall! Don't dare to stand beside her la." "Why are you so tall???" "I thought you went to US already?" "When you going US?" "What you studying?" ............... ........ ... Annoying shit. LOL The whole CNY I spent only with my family, relatives, cousins... Normally, people gamble or play fire crackers on Chinese New Year. But, I don't play both. That's why my CNY is very boring.  lil coussie.  On the way to Pavilion ;  Brought these two fella along. We were too bored staying at home.  Ryan in pink ; ZhengYu in blue  So, went to JunHao's open house. First time play Lami ; quite additctive! The ninth day of Chinese New Year is a significant day for the Hokkiens, it is a day of gratitude for their ancestors’ relive. I'm not a Hokkiens, but my Hakka family beholds the belief too. So on the eighth day of CNY, friends and relatives are invited to our house to join us for the prayer. (sorry for the low quality photos ; taken by my itouch4)  What we called in chinese is 拜天宫 "bai tian gong"  the people.  grandpa praying :)  this kiddo kept asking people to take photo of him. haha. 2012 Chinese New Year ended like that.
