Bro's Birthday & Daddy's Day
My parents organized a birthday party for my youngest bro at my house last Saturday night.
It was my bro first time having a big birthday party, celebrate his 12th Birthday.
A simple catering buffet, and extra ordered 80 pieces of Lamb chop :]
Relatives, neighbours, my bro's classmates were invited.

My bro doesn't want to invite his female classmates, he just want to invite boys.
You all know la... Primary school kids scare that you laugh them, say is their girlfriend, this and that. haha.
We forced him to invite the whole class to come ; My parents wanna see his female classmates :P

The next day was Father's day.
Early morning, I've prepared to bake a cake for my dad.
I just realize that I just know how to bake Oreo cheesecake. haha. Cheesecake is the easiest cake to bake.
I used another method to bake Oreo cheesecake this time.
Instead of a normal round or square shape cake, I made it to cupcake style.


I followed this recipes below :
Make 30 of cupcakes
  • 42 Oreo, cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, 30 left whole and 12 coarsely chopped
  • 2 pounds cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Pinch of salt
  1. Preheat oven to 275° F.  Line standard muffin tins with paper liners.  Place 1 whole Oreo cookie in the bottom of each lined muffin cup.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, fitted with the paddle attachment, beat cream cheese on medium-high speed until smooth, scraping down sides of the bowl as needed.  Gradually add the sugar, and beat until combined.  Beat in the vanilla.
  3. Drizzle in eggs, a little at a time, beating to combine and scraping down sides of bowl as needed. Add in sour cream and salt, beat to combine.  Using a large spatula, fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
  4. Divide batter evenly among the cookie-filled muffin cups, fill each cup almost to the top.  Bake, rotating muffin tins halfway through, until the filling is set, about 22 to 28 minutes.  Transfer the muffins tins to a wire rack to cool completely.  Refrigerate (in the muffin tins) at least 4 hours (or overnight). Remove from tins just before serving.

     I don't know where to get the cream or how to make the cream to write on top of the cupcakes ;
    So my mom melt some chocolate and write the wording for me on top of the cupcakes.



    At night we have dinner at The Ship with two more families, my cousin's family.
    Mom brought my cupcakes to there.
    There's three daddys, my dad's two younger brothers - means my uncles, and also my dad.
    So you can see three smiley face cupcakes :)
