Comic Fiesta 2010
Comic Fiesta 2010 18 - 19th December 2010 Manhattan Ballroom, Berjaya Time Square Hotel * Comic Fiesta began as a two-day event in celebration of the ACG culture. They wanted to bring together the Malaysian Anime, Comics and Games (ACG) community, so that fans will be able to get together, interact and help expand the creative pool of the community. At the time, the ACG culture was just beginning to take root in Malaysia, and Comic Fiesta was one of the rare conventions where fans and public alike could come together and celebrate its creative diversity. They're made up of volunteers through and through, coming together to create an avenue where local talents in comics, animation and cosplay can come together. * Cosplay = short form of 'costume play'. Cosplay is a type of performance where cosplayers will design, create and wear a specially-made costume that are usually associated with a certain character from anime, manga, video games or graphic novels. I'm actually not interested in all this. My brother asked to go. As a multimedia design student, should go there and have a look too :P Anime is so not my drawing style ; My drawing style is like cartoon-ish. I don't play game... and I mention this in my blog so many time. There's lot of people, damn crowded. Once you reach Ballroom that floor, you can see many people with cosplay. Talk bout Cosplay, I feel that Cosplay is stupid. They look fucking disgusting for me ; but some pretty girls still look ok with the costume =] Later you can see from the pic below, what is disgusting. LOL We bought ticket and enter the ballroom. They run some event over there such as, Cosplay Competition, Dota Challenge, some performances etc. Lot of artist booth selling their own drawing and handcraft over there. There's booths that selling others stuff too. Outside the ballroom Dolls that display over there ; they selling it too. quite expensive kind of gothic doll ? i like this :) and this set too! They selling Ah Beng's Comic. and the ah beng (MYfm DJ Jack Lim) was there too :) Pics below are those COSPLAYERS. There's a lot cosplayer, but I just manage to snap some. and I don't know who the hell they cosplay-ing. So, THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL My two brothers are Kamen Rider big fans. especially my small bro... Everyday shout HEN SHIN! yes, he going to transform the body to Kamen Rider. wtf I laughed at them when they try to made Kamen Rider's belt by themselves. one of the character in Kamen Rider ; the person haven't HEN SHIN (transform) lol He finally met his Kamen Rider I was there from 2+pm to 7+pm... damn tiring. oh yea... I bumped into my two classmates too :) I did cosplay too! I cosplay the character of Chong Wei Yean. wtf :P
Malacca 1 day trip
Malacca one day trip! 3 hours of journey from KL ; We reached Malacca bout 1 o'clock. and was raining on that day. Here’s a summary of what I have seen, ate and done for the entire trip according to the time line with photos included. The surviving gate of the A'Famosa Portuguese fort in Malacca. This big ship is the Maritime Museum * The Maritime Museum itself is a replica of the 'Flora de La Mar', a Portuguese ship that sank off the coast of Malacca while on its way to Portugal, carrying loot plundered from Malacca. Tin Animal Money, is early money believed to be first used in the 15th century. omg. inside the museum, I felt like I'm back to my secondary school time studying SEJARAH. Went to the famous Restaurant Chung Wah's Hainanese Chicken Rice Balls to have lunch. There was a pretty long queue outside it ; and so we have to queue too. The taste of the rice balls is a gently fragrant one :) They are about the size of a ping-pong ball and have this soft and sticky consistency that binds the rice grains together. Chicken with a seasoning of mostly light soy sauce with a dash of sesame oil :) After lunch, we took a stroll at Jonker Street. Jonker Street - a place for people who love hunting for rare stuffs and a shopping paradise for shopaholics :P I bought two t-shirts at there. Tired of walking for the whole day, my small bro decided to sit trishaw. The trishaw covered with flowers and often blaring pop music from radios ; the trishaws themselves are as much of an attempt to attract the attention of tourists as the drivers themselves, calling out destinations and prices to all who pass by. We were being taken for a 20mins ride. For dinner, Seafood Village at Malacca Portuguese Settlement is our choice. Food over there not bad. I love eating cockles! si ham~~ The last destination for our Malacca trip is the popular Malacca River Cruise Jetty. The boat took about 45 minutes to complete the whole journey. The night view is beautiful :D 3 hours journey back to home again =] OreoCheeseCake
Another post bout my Birthday again :D I'd blog bout my birthday celebration with friends. And here's another post is with family. oh. main point is actually... BAKING OREO CHEESE CAKE with my boy :P Had early birthday dinner with family at Jogoya, same place as last year. Just few of us this time ; unlike last year birthday dinner with the relatives together. I like it to be simple :) I've been telling my boyf I wanted to eat Oreo Cheesecake. And he really learn to bake before he came to KL! Decided to bake it at night of the day before my birthday ; Then when the clock turns 12o'clock ; we can use the cake as my birthday cake :DThe pics below shown the process of how we make our oreo cheesecake :D Look like I'm giving a The ingredients! The tools to use for baking Bro helping out to squeeze the lemon ; we need only 2 table spoon of Lemon Juice cup of Sour Cream Corn Flour Sugar we just used the butter that we normally eat with bread at home. we need only a table spoon ; don't have to purposely waste money buy a cube of butter for cake :P Put in Philadelphia Cream Cheese All in the mixer and MIX IT! *For the base, we used hot water to melt butter and mix it with Oreo crush. Then, place it into our square pan, spread as evenly as possible. Pour the cheesecake filling from the mixer into the pan and then bake it Lastly, Refrigerate cooled cheesecake and...
